Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 veered primarily toward action with the occasional scary moment, except for a pretty good graphical upgrade. The game already looked great on the Xbox 360, and the Resident Evil 6 isn’t a good game. I know hardcore fans will gaslight themselves into thinking it was actually decent because the Leon Kennedy campaign didn’t suck total ass, but no matter how much you try and convince yourself, there is no denying the bloated sixth entry is anything but painfully average.I always liked it well enough. Both 5 and 6 are more action oriented tbh. The strange thing about resident evil games is no matter how you felt during the first run you're probably going to experience some enjoyable things during additional playthroughs. Resident Evil is no stranger to ham, cheese, and camp, in fact, it's one of it's most charming qualities. But this game manages to use every mind-numbing and eye-rolling cliche in the book without a single hint of irony or self-awareness. All that said, I'm going to give this game some credit.
