Battlefield Bad Company’s solo campaign has great characters and blowing stuff up is fun, even if it all does look quite fake. Still the action lacks the final kick for greatness, now it's merely good fun. Multiplayer is the true heart of the game and makes good use of the destructible environments.

The characters had personality and uniqueness. Nowadays it's all the same crap. Bf4 campaign was just not up to par with bad company or bc2. However, bad company set the stage for the online multiplayer. It was underrated until bf4 was released, by then battlefield had far surpassed COD (at least imo) was THE fps to own.
