We do lots of black and white activities at the art table, science center, and even the sensory bin. From Teaching 2 and 3 Year Olds I cut out simple shapes with colored construction paper (Maddie Grace helped with a little cutting to work on fine motor skills), and then we glued them on to paper to make scenes of day and night. Use your scissors and cut the agamograph along the outer line. Take your wooden skewer and score along the lines of each alternating image. Start folding the night and day craft. Turn the whole page face down and start folding the first piece of the agamograph “puzzle” using an accordion fold technique. Press each piece firmly.
